Your Camaro on a poster, from the one photo you love

Some Camaros are the car somebody proposed in. Some are the wedding car that drove to and from the courthouse. Most are the one in the garage that took years to get right. Either way it is one specific car, so a poster of a generic Camaro misses the point. We make it from your photo.

21 Camaro owners have ordered so far, all in the US. Here are real examples, which years people bring, and how to photograph yours.

Which Camaros owners order

Two out of three Camaro orders are first generation, 1967 to 1969. Coupes and convertibles, RS hidden headlights and SS bumblebee noses, Z/28s and one blown drag car.

The rest spread across the line: second-gen cars from the 1970s, third-gen cars from the 1980s including an IROC-Z, a fourth-gen, and a fifth-gen from the 2010s.

§ 03

Where owners put their Camaro

Eight of the 21 described their own scene: Mount Rainier over Puget Sound, a Wisconsin farm field, a Florida drag strip, Bar Harbor in Maine, a late-80s gas station with the old pumps. One owner put two Camaros side by side on a mountain road above a lake.

From our list, Camaro owners spread evenly over Watkins Glen, the Pacific Coast Highway, Route 66 and the Tail of the Dragon, with single picks for Pikes Peak, Mulholland Drive and Going-to-the-Sun Road.

§ 04

How to photograph a Camaro for a poster

Shoot the front three-quarter from grille height. On a first-gen, that angle answers the questions that matter: RS or standard grille, hidden or exposed headlights, nose stripe or not, cowl hood or flat.

On a 1967 versus a 1968, the side matters too. The vent windows and side marker lights are how owners spot a wrong year, so keep the whole side in frame. On an IROC-Z, get the wheels and the lower body stripe in.

Tell us what the photo doesn't show: convertible top up or down, the exact stripe color, the engine callout on the fender. Leave the plate on and we can remove it.
