A custom pet poster of your own dog or cat

Your dog, not a stock dog with your dog's face. Upload one photo per animal and you get a poster where each one keeps its own coat, its own eyes and every marking on the side where it really is.

The design is free and ready in about a minute. Up to four animals fit on one print, dogs and cats together, and an extra pet costs nothing.

Five styles, one household

These samples all show the same two animals, Bram and Saar, so you can compare the styles side by side. You can switch style for free after you see yours.

Vintage Poster is a mid-century travel poster with their names as the headline and their favorite walk behind them: dunes, beach, heath, forest, park, home or snow, or a place you describe yourself. Old Master is a Dutch Golden Age oil look, with window light, a Turkish carpet and Delft blue; they can wear a lace ruff or, for one of them, the pearl earring. Studio Minimal is ink and watercolor on white. Field Study is a plate from a natural-history atlas, with the Latin name under each animal. Best in Show is a 1950s show bill with a blue rosette and “FIRST PRIZE · FAVORITE OF THE HOUSE”.

How much does a custom dog poster cost?

A custom pet poster starts at $59 for a 12 × 16 in fine-art print. You pay for size and finish only; one dog or two dogs and two cats cost the same. US shipping is free and tracked, the high-resolution digital file comes with every print, and every extra print in the order is 20% off.

You will find dog prints for $20 or less. Many of those are a fixed template around your photo, or a digital file you print yourself. Here you get a design built from your own animal's photo, a free proof before you pay, unlimited edits after you order, and a person who checks each animal against its photo before it prints.

§ 03

Getting the photo right

One sharp photo per animal, in daylight, where you can see the face and the true colors. Get down to their eye level. A photo of just the head is enough; the body follows from the coat and build. Don't worry about the lead, the couch or the person holding them: only the animal is used, and leads and harnesses are left off.

The animals don't need to be in the same photo. It works better if they aren't. Each one comes from its own photo, and they appear together in one scene and one light, each at its true size: a small terrier stays small next to a shepherd.

§ 04

See it first, then decide

Five short questions: the style, where they walk or what they wear, how they pose, who's the boss, and what it says. The boss gets the middle of the picture. The text is their names, your own line of up to 40 characters, or nothing.

You can change the free design up to five times. After you order, you see the full-size proof, ask for as many changes as you like, and nothing prints until you approve it. Prints and frames are made in 2–3 business days, then ship in usually 3–5 business days.

Questions

Can I turn a photo of my dog into a poster?

Yes. Upload one photo of your dog, answer five questions, and the poster design is ready in about a minute. It is free to see. You pay only if you order a print or canvas.

How much is a custom pet poster?

From $59 for a 12 × 16 in fine-art print, up to $169 for 28 × 40 in. Framed prints are $119–$329 and canvas $99–$449 with a float frame. Extra pets on the same poster are free.

Can I put my dog and my cat on one poster?

Yes. Up to four animals fit on one print: dogs, cats, rabbits, horses or other pets, each from its own photo.

Which size should I choose?

12 × 16 in for a desk or a narrow wall, 16 × 20 in above a sofa, 20 × 28 in and up for a statement wall. Portrait orientation suits one animal or a pair sitting up; landscape gives a group room to spread out.

What if a marking or color is wrong?

Say so in your own words, like ‘Saar's white patch is on her left side’ or ‘make Bram paler, more cream than gold’. Every edit goes back to that animal's own photo.
