A multi-pet portrait: the whole household on one print

Getting two dogs and a cat to sit still for one photo is not going to happen. You don't need to. Upload one photo per animal, up to four, and they appear together in one scene and one light, as if they had sat for it.

One animal or four costs the same. The design is free and ready in about a minute.

§ 01

Each one from its own photo

Every animal is matched to its own photo: its coat, its eyes, its ears, every marking on the side where it really is. Nobody becomes a stock version of their breed to fit the group.

Sizes stay true. A cavapoo stays small beside a collie, and the cat stays cat-sized next to the shepherd. Every face is fully visible; nobody hides behind anyone else.

They don't need to have been photographed together, or even to have known each other. A dog who died last year can sit with the puppy who came after.

§ 02

Who's the boss?

One of the five questions settles it. Name a boss and that animal gets the middle of the picture, slightly forward and highest. Or choose ‘nobody, they're equals’. In the Old Master style, the boss is the one who wears the pearl earring if you choose that dress.

Pick the pose for the group: together like a family portrait, mid-chase and mid-tumble, or curled up asleep against each other. For a group, choose landscape: it gives three or four animals room to spread out. A pair sitting up also works in portrait.

§ 04

See it before you pay

The design is free and can be changed up to five times: swap their places, make one smaller, fix a marking. After you order you see the full-size proof, ask for edits as often as you need, and nothing prints until you approve it. A person checks each animal side by side with its own photo before it prints. Prints and frames are made in 2–3 business days, then ship in usually 3–5 business days.

Questions

Do all my pets need to be in one photo?

No, and it works better if they aren't. Upload one photo per animal. They appear together in one scene and one light.

Does every extra pet cost more?

No. One animal or four, the price depends only on the size and finish.

Can I have more than four pets?

Four is the most on one print. For five or more, make two prints; the second is 20% off in the same order.

Can people be in the portrait too?

No. The pet portraits show animals only.

Can a pet who has passed away be included?

Yes. Use any good photo of them, even an old one. Add their years in your own line of text if you like, for example ‘Bram · 2012–2026’.
