My son’s

Dean from Lynden, WA

“The pictures make it appear like a frameless stretched canvas. In reality it’s semi rolled more like a triangle piece of printed paper”

Reply from Vellum

Hi Dean, thank you for the honest review. Your order was for two fine art prints. A fine art print is the artwork on heavy matte paper, shipped rolled, and it is the most affordable option we offer. We also sell a canvas, which comes stretched on a wooden frame, and a framed print, which arrives ready to hang. You choose between these yourself at checkout, and the price changes with the choice. I have emailed you to sort this out.

Out 64 Corvair

Tracie from Livermore, CA

“It came rolled but with creases in the paper from rolling. I wont be able to get this to lay flat to frame. I would like a refund. I cant find se this”

Reply from Vellum

Hi Tracie, we are sorry your print arrived creased. Prints ship rolled, and although the vast majority arrive in perfect condition, a package is occasionally handled roughly by the carrier. When that happens we always send a free replacement, as stated on our website and as we replied to your email. A new print is being arranged for you at no cost, in time for your husband's birthday. We would have appreciated the chance to make this right before a review, but the offer stands either way.

Porsche Cayenne

Armgard from Berkel-Enschot

“Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the print. The paper is smooth (I had expected more texture), and the colors do not match the preview sent beforehand at all. The print I received is almost orange, whereas the "proof" had a much cooler tone. What a shame!”

Reply from Vellum

Hi Armgard, thanks for your honest review, we really appreciate it. Regarding the color: a screen is backlit and displays colors cooler and brighter than paper can. A warm scene like this mountain pass in evening light will always appear warmer on matte paper than on a screen. The paper is a smooth, heavy matte fine art paper, so it doesn't have any texture. We'll take your feedback into account to make this clearer upfront. Sorry that it wasn't what you expected.

Upload the car as it is now; we'll make a print that looks like it was always meant to hang in a studio.
